ABOUT THIS SITE

THE POINT TO LISTTEN

This site is dedicated to Christian teaching through lists of ten in hope that believers and non-believers alike will "listen" and be helped. The entire world of learning is our "parish" since we can and should bring Christian perspectives to bear on all sorts of subjects.

Of course, ten is an arbitrary number, and many topics lend themselves as readily to lists of other sizes. But we believe that this approach serves well to engage readers and to lead them through a short course of study. Our culture has an affinity for lists of ten, and so we pick up on this pattern.

We trust that these annotated lists will open up new fields of interest, that pastors and teachers will find good illustrative material, and that many will enjoy reflection on the richness Christian life, work, and thought.
